Walking Worthy

Stop the Insanity of living outside God’s plan for your life! God has done everything necessary to give us access into His presence. Choosing to live elsewhere is ridiculous!

When we meet together as the body of Christ it is to spur (stimulate) one another on to love and good works for which we were created.

Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, 20by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; 24and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, 25not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:19-25)

  • Jesus, by His blood shed on the cross, has made a way for us to enter into the very presence of God our Creator.
  • Therefore, enter. In His presence is fullness of joy, pleasures evermore, eternal life.
  • Hold on to this truth with all your might.
  • Look for every opportunity to encourage one another in this truth by assembling together.

Our goal in this series of messages is to be stimulated into fulfilling our God ordained purpose and experience fullness of joy in Christ.

Ephesians 4:1 and 1:

The Magnitude of Our Calling

  • Every spiritual blessing attainable through Jesus Christ has been given to us. (Ephesians 1:3)
    • Take hold of what God has already given you. (Joshua)
  • We have become participants in the eternal plan of God to save man from sin. (1:4)
  • We have been adopted into the eternal family of God as sons (daughters). (1:5)
    • Galatians 4:4-7 - But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law,   5so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons  6Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”   7Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.
  • We have complete forgiveness of sins. (1:7)
    • “As far as the east is from the west”
  • We can understand His eternal plan for the salvation of men. He gives us new eyes to see the truth. (1:9)
    • All our hopes find fulfillment in Jesus the Christ.
  • We inherit a glorious kingdom in Christ, an eternal kingdom.
    • The Jews had an opportunity to conquer all the Promised Land. They were given a chance to be obedient and experience the safety and blessing of their God. However, they forfeited it through disobedience. Now in Christ the Eternal Kingdom is made available and in Him we will not lose it.
  • We are sealed by the Holy Spirit.  (1:13,14)

    • If so much has been done to secure a place for you in God’s plan, why look at Him and say, “No thanks…”
    • If so much has been provided for your success, why say, “I don’t think I can…”
    • If God has invited you to participate, why don’t you say, “I will”
